Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the USAGSO-North Atlantic Girl Scout Online Shop.  Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before shopping.  By using this site you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.  We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time.  Please check this page periodically for changes.

The material in this site could include techical inaccuracies, typographical errors, or omissions.  We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

Payment

The USA Girl Scouts Overseas-North Atlantic Online Shop accepts PayPal as its sole method of payment.  Payment by check is accepted but items will not be sent until the check is received and cleared. 

You also have the option to call our office and provide your credit card details.  This information WILL NOT be kept on file and will be securely discarded.  We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express:   Call DSN 633-7968 or 633-8696. Processing of Orders

All orders are processed in the order received.  Orders containing all required information will be processed within two business days of receipt, except during high volume business times.  During these high volume times we do our best to process your order as quickly as possible.  All orders must include a daytime telephone number.  This will enable us to contact you should we have questions concerning your order.  If you have not heard from the GS Shop within one week of submitting your order, please contact the shop to confirm we have indeed received your order.

Returns and Adjustments

Returns are accepted for current items with tags still attached and in original packaging.  All returns must be received with the original receipt.  NO RETURNS OR ADJUSTMENTS AFTER 30 DAYS.  Returns may be used for immediate exchange, shop credit or refund by check.  Processing time for checks is approximately 3 weeks.  NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON DISCONTINUED ITEMS, SALE MERCHANDISE and SEASONAL FUN PATCHES.  Always include the following when sending back merchandise for return:

  • Copy of the original shop invoice    
  • The action you are requesting - Exchange or Refund
  • Method of refund - Shop credit or Refund Check
  • Your daytime phone number or contact information

Shipping, handling and insurance fees are not refundable unless the return resulted from our error.

Backorders 

Backordered items are paid at the time the order is processed.  Backordered items have priority and will be sent as soon as they arrive at the Shop.  There is no additonal shipping or handling charges added when backorders are processed. 

Backorders are not available on all items.  Please read the full description before ordering.

Special Order Items

  • ID Pins and Flags - Because these items are ordered to specific customer needs they will always show a 0 amount in stock.  They are available but will be a backordered selection.
  • Interested in an item we do not carry? - Call or email the shop to special order.  We will order the items you wish.  Our normal Handling and Shipping charges will be the only additional fee added.

Handling, Shipping, Insurance, and additional charges - All charges are based on the total amount of  purchase.

     Handling - A $3.50 handling charge is applied to all orders

     Shipping - Shipping charges are applied to all orders being shipped to civilian addresses - NA or NY served.

     Shipping +  Insurance charges are applied to all orders when requesting insurance - APO and Civilian addresses

     Tracking of orders is only available with insurance

Additional Charges:  Heavy or oversized items may require an additional shipping charge - items such as books or flag staffs.  We  will contact you before charges are applied and before shipment of merchandise.
